Well, that's where Fox Valley Hockey Training comes in. In fact, owner Blake Hackbarth possesses 20+ years of playing and coaching experience that make him your go-to when it comes to training properly as a hockey player.

What is this?

Blake Hackbarth is a certified personal trainer through the International Sports Science Association. Blake is also certified and has an emphasis in diet coaching, as well as sports strength & conditioning. Blake has been trusted to train and develop athletes not just in the United States but across the world both through virtual training and in person.


What's the difference?

What makes the difference is Blake's knowledge of what it takes to be a physically strong hockey player over trainers that have never played the sport. Unless you have lived the strength it takes to have a heavy shot, to be a strong skater, and to be physically dominant over your opponents you simply won't have the same understanding of the mechanics of the body that help you train your athletes with the most efficient method.


The Development Model

Numbers don't lie. All of our athletes are tested initially to create a baseline of results that show a player's strengths and weaknesses ensuring that we maximize our efforts towards where a player lacks and where they exceed. Using these results we will formulate a plan that will best serve the athlete and their development. Finally, consistency is key. Athletes need to dedicate themselves to their plans in order to reach their maximum potential.
